Below are a list of recommendations and resources I’ve used throughout my investing life, some for education, some as investment platforms, some to save money. Most of these will include an affiliate or referral link, see my Advertising and Referral Links policy.
Cash Money
Rakuten – never pay full price
With Rakuten you get cash back on most shopping, including big brands (though during the COVID pandemic some retailers like Amazon that are booming have limited or eliminated cash back.) Plus Rakuten tracks coupon codes for you so you can get items on sale, plus cash back.
You can get $30 cash and stop paying full price with my referral link.
Raise – discounted gift cards
Raise offers gift cards for various retailers at a discount. You can also sell gift cards you aren’t ever going to use for cash. Popular cards like iTunes and Starbucks are using hard to find or barely discounted (typically 1% or less), but some brands can be 10-15% off, and they have regular promotions. You can also go the cash back route instead and get a bit more.
Get $5 back on your first purchase with my referral link.
Honeygain
Use your home internet connection to generate some passive cash with Honeygain. Get paid in cash or the JumpToken (JMPT).

Brokerages
I have used all these brokerages at one point or another in my investing career. All offer great products at low cost, but do your own research and also check the fees.
